    Inok: We are Yet To Feel The Impact Of NNL Title Sponsors

    Unicem Rovers chairman, Maurice Inok has revealed that clubs in the Bet9ja Nigeria National League haven't felt the impact of the title sponsors.

    Inok stated this after the Cross Rivers outfit handed a 2-0 defeat to Osun United in a reschedule week 14 match played on Monday at U.J Esuene Stadium, Calabar.


    Sports gaming brand, Bet9ja were officially unveiled as title sponsors of the Nigeria National League in May 2017 in a three-years deal worth  N200,000.000,00 (Two hundred million).

    "Well, I don't know if there's much difference from what the NNL used to be, they've talked about the title sponsors but we haven't felt the effect," Inok told Footyalert

    "The officiating still leaves much to be desired. Apart from that I think that the organizers of the league can do a whole lot more.

    "There were a lot of things that were promised the teams at the start of the season but we really haven't seen them yet.

    "Recession is real, there are issues with money which everyone goes through and we feel if it's better commercialized there could be more for all the teams. 

    "But I think it's a work in process, you saw how long it took the Premiership to get to where it is and I believe it'll trickle down,"Inok stated.
